The Product provides charging services for personal mobile phones and tablets. The Product cannot determine whether it is compatible with your device. You are responsible for: 2.1 Your own telecom and data costs incurred for using the Service. 2.2 Service fees. The specific fee standard is displayed in real time on the rental interface. In a deposit‑and‑rental model, you may be required to pay a rental deposit as security. Payment and refund rules are subject to the deposit interface display. 2.3 Necessary internet‑capable devices (e.g., mobile phone, tablet, modem, router). Given the importance of network services, you confirm that registration information you submit for any account used in connection with the Product and services is true, accurate, complete, and valid. While the Product does not contain viruses or trojans, we cannot guarantee that malicious third parties will not compromise your devices or property. Stay vigilant for anomalies and report to authorities if necessary. You bear the risks and losses from such events. You must comply with these Terms and use the Service properly. If your actions cause damage to the Product hardware or software (including but not limited to damage from compression, dropping, liquid ingress, misuse, improper connection/testing, or chemical corrosion) or cause loss, you are liable and must compensate Golden News Power Bank for resulting losses. We or our partners may deduct compensation from your deposit (if any) or pursue recovery, including charging the market price of the smart charging equipment. You must not use the Product for illegal activities; maliciously damage, deface, or dismantle the Product; or steal it in any manner. You will bear all losses and liabilities, including compensation at market price for the equipment, and we reserve the right to pursue legal responsibilities. During your charging service, the service may be provided by our partners. You acknowledge Golden News Power Bank does not provide guarantees for third‑party services. Disputes or losses arising from third‑party services or a partner’s violation of law or these Terms shall be resolved and borne by that partner, and Golden News Power Bank will provide reasonable assistance. Intellectual Property and Software Use Rules Unless otherwise stated, the hardware, software, and content provided during the Service are owned by Golden News Power Bank. Without our written consent, you shall not implement, use, transfer, or license any of the foregoing IP for any purpose. Unless permitted by law or by our written consent, you shall not: 2.1 Remove copyright or proprietary notices on the Product or its copies. 2.2 Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive source code of the software. 2.3 Use, rent, lend, copy, modify, link, reprint, compile, publish, or mirror content owned by Golden News Power Bank. 2.4 Copy, modify, add, delete, hook, or create derivative works from data in memory, client‑server interaction data, or system data necessary for operation, including via plugins, add‑ons, or unauthorized third‑party tools/services. 2.5 Modify or forge instructions/data during operation to change functionality or effects, operate or disseminate related software/methods, whether or not for commercial purposes. 2.6 Log in to or use the Product and Service via unauthorized third‑party software, plugins, add‑ons, or systems, or produce/publish/distribute such tools. 2.7 Interfere with components, modules, or data of the software or authorize others to do so. You shall bear all resulting legal liabilities. You shall indemnify and hold harmless Golden News Power Bank, its partners, and affiliates from any third‑party claims, demands, or losses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees, litigation costs, appraisal/notarization fees, and travel expenses) arising from your breach of these Terms. If, during normal operation, a technical defect of the equipment causes damage to your mobile phone, personal injury, or property loss to you or nearby persons, the manufacturer of that batch of equipment shall bear the corresponding liability in accordance with applicable law. Where applicable law places obligations on the operator, Golden News Power Bank will fulfill statutory responsibilities. If hardware damage occurs due to your improper custody (including but not limited to compression, dropping, liquid ingress, misuse, improper connection/testing, or chemical corrosion), you shall bear all liabilities, including compensation at market price. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
